Job Summary:

Teaches subject matter and skills to all students, which will contribute to their development as mature, knowledgeable, and responsible learners. Candidates should be able to demonstrate mastery of subject knowledge, common core state standards, a proven ability to manage a classroom, the desire and ability to work up to the standards of a high-performing team, and an entrepreneurial spirit and approach to teaching.

 Qualifications- Required:

  1. Education:  Hold a Bachelor’s dgree
  2. Teaching License is not required, must pass MTEL Exams within 1 year of hire
  3. Candidates are subject to background checks including, CORI clearance, and fingerprinting
  4. Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment.

Qualifications- Preferred:

  1. Education: Hold a Master’s degree
  2. Hold a Massachusetts Teaching License in the appropriate content area and hold an SEI endorsement
  3. Experience working in an urban school district



This position is part of the FRCSTA Collective Bargaining Unit. Salary commensurates with years of professional service in a school and educational attainment. Benefits offered include, health, dental, tuition reimbursement, 2 personal days, 9 sick days, 403b with match.
